About the Role
Due to continued growth we are currently seeking Experienced Mine Site and Workshop based Lineborer- Fitter/Machinists to be based at our Rutherford premises, with paid travel to various job sites in the Hunter Valley, as required.
Our Lineborers play a critical role in our business and are responsible for the safe, detailed and accurate refurbishment of heavy earth moving, mining and marine equipment for our valued clients.
Key Duties
- Demonstrated safety first work ethic and professional attitude
- Ability to read plans and produce detailed quality work to required sizes and finishes
- Ability to adapt to changing work requirements
- Manage jobs at various sites – customer and company based
- Proven interpersonal skills to liaise with clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to both contribute and learn from others; and
- The ability to build clear and open communication with management, supervisors, leading hands and team members.
The key team members we are looking for needs:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Appropriate trade qualifications (Statement of Attainment MEM30205 – Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent)
- Current MR drivers licence - Highly desirable
- Proven ability to provide quality customer service outcomes
- Proven problem solving ability with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements; and
- A strong commitment to safe work practices
- Live in close proximity of the Rutherford and Hunter Valley area.
