Line Manager

We are looking for a Line Manager to drive efficiency, maintain quality standards, ensuring safety, and lead a team to achieve production goals effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the daily operations of the production line, ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently and within quality standards
• Maintain and enforce quality control measures and address quality issues promptly
• Uphold and enforce safety regulations to ensure safe working environment for all team memebrs
• Lead, coach and manage the Production Team on the line
• Address any issues that occur during production promptly
• Analyse root causes and implement corrective actions
• Monitor production metrics, downtime and waste levels
• Implement strategies to improve efficiency and processes to optimise production

REQUIREMENTS

• 5 - 10 years of experience in a manufacturing enviroment in a leadership role
• Experience in managing teams, overseeing production lines and leading process improvements
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and practices
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing principals and continous improvements
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams to meet production targets and quality standards
• Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills to identify production issues and implement effective solutions
• Organisationsal skills to manage production schedules and resources
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Proficiency with computer software
• Relevant trade/ engineering degree or equivalent
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team
