Job Summary: 

This position is primarily an internal facing role that supports the Project Supervisor/Lead through safe and timely execution of site project activities, in accordance with WSG Eftech, and client processes procedures. This is an onshore role with national coverage to all states. As an LN2 Technician, you will participate in, setup, function test and the operation of all WSG Eftech’s equipment. You will be a pro-active self-starter, and team player who is able to forgo strong working relationships, and capable of managing your own time effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all relevant activities as set out within the operational procedures and in full compliance with all QHSE requirements. 
• Be an integral team member to ensure that all work is conducted safely and in accordance approved procedures. 
• Fully competent and with minimal supervision in rig-up, operate, and rig-down of all Liquid Nitrogen equipment including converter, ISO tanks, OPP, and any other auxiliary equipment for use in nitrogen pumping service operations such as purging, high pressure leak testing, drying etc. 
• Performing routine maintenance and safety inspections of the Liquid Nitrogen Converter and auxiliary equipment, testing converter operation as per procedure, and logging your work on a daily basis. 
• Provide operational and technical equipment support to the project supervisor or lead. 
• Preparation of daily on-the-job operational pumping logs, testing data, consumable reports etc. 
• Ensure all near misses, incidents and/or accidents are promptly communicated/reported to your supervisor or project lead. 
• Ensure all WSG Eftech and site safety control systems are compiled and adhered to. 
• Adopt and support the ‘Stop Work Policy’. 

Requirements:

Relevant onshore & offshore hazardous facility site experience. Understanding of processes & procedures. Fully competent in all aspects of Liquid Nitrogen pumping operations. Working rights within Australia 
Mechanical Apprenticeship or Territory Trade Certificate is advantageous

• Expected salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
