This highly regarded team is looking to appoint a Litigation Paralegal to support a busy a Litigation Lawyer/Accredited Specialist and the wider team. The team is busy and the standards are high. The Role:
This exciting opportunity will see you working within a genuinely lovely and supportive team of Paralegals and a talented Litigation Specialist to help guide and mentor you.
Your day to day duties will involve:

• Drafting correspondence and sending letters and emails
• Filing incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Preparing Costs Agreements and associated documents
• Collating and indexing disclosure documents and pleadings
• Drafting Lists of Documents, Briefs to Counsel and a variety of court documents;
• Conducting research, discovery as well as general filing and scanning of supporting documents
• Liaising with clients on the phone to assist in managing client expectations
• Assist in preparing and issuing monthly client bills
• Scheduling meetings / managing calendars
• Court filing on Commonwealth Courts Portal
• Liaising with clients and practitioners and
• General Paralegal and Administrative support tasks as required.

About you:
Ideally you will be looking to progress your career as a Paralegal and come with litigation experience within a civil rights or social justice environment. You will be looking to jump into a new role that has room for growth and development and hit the ground running!
Ideally you will bring with you:

• A minimum of 2 year's Paralegal / Law Clerk experience - Litigation / civil or insurance is highly desirable
• A strong desire to grow and step up, be part of the team and collaborate
• A personality to match a vibrant, task focused team who love to share a laugh
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Flexibility, adaptability and reliability at all times
• Confidence to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and
• A dedicated approach to your work with a desire to go above and beyond for both your clients and employer
