LITIGATION PARALEGAL

This highly regarded team is looking to appoint a Litigation Paralegal to support a busy a Litigation Lawyer/Accredited Specialist and the wider team. The team is busy and the standards are high. The Role:
This exciting opportunity will see you working within a genuinely lovely and supportive team of Paralegals and a talented Litigation Specialist to help guide and mentor you.
Your day to day duties will involve:
- Drafting correspondence and sending letters and emails
- Filing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Preparing Costs Agreements and associated documents
- Collating and indexing disclosure documents and pleadings
- Drafting Lists of Documents, Briefs to Counsel and a variety of court documents;
- Conducting research, discovery as well as general filing and scanning of supporting documents
- Liaising with clients on the phone to assist in managing client expectations
- Assist in preparing and issuing monthly client bills
- Scheduling meetings / managing calendars
- Court filing on Commonwealth Courts Portal
- Liaising with clients and practitioners and
- General Paralegal and Administrative support tasks as required.
Ideally you will be looking to progress your career as a Paralegal and come with litigation experience within a civil rights or social justice environment. You will be looking to jump into a new role that has room for growth and development and hit the ground running!
Ideally you will bring with you:
- A minimum of 2 year's Paralegal / Law Clerk experience - Litigation / civil or insurance is highly desirable
- A strong desire to grow and step up, be part of the team and collaborate
- A personality to match a vibrant, task focused team who love to share a laugh
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Flexibility, adaptability and reliability at all times
- Confidence to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and
