Position Details
- Part-Time Permanent Position Available (0.8 FTE)
- Classification: SCHADS Level 7 with a salary range of $111,012 - $115,655 pro rata per annum + Superannuation
- Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year.
- Location: Neami Head Office, Preston VIC, however remote or hybrid working arrangements will be considered (remote work available)

About Your New role
The exciting new role of Lived Experience Lead - Community Connection and Wellbeing (CCW) will inspire, and involve others through leading, embedding and elevating the Lived Experience lens in operational practice, strategy, governance, and organisational culture in the Community Connection & Wellbeing stream. This stream delivers a number of services across States with a focus on psycho-social supports.
Reporting to the Director- Community Connection and Wellbeing, the LEL-CCW models and oversees Lived Experience practice, leadership, and ways of working across the stream to drive understanding, capacity building, quality performance, education, continuous improvement, and cultural change.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Personal experience of mental health challenges, service use, periods of healing/personal recovery and demonstrated ability to apply learnings from this as primary knowledge.
- Deep understanding of the collective Lived Experience lens, as well as Lived Experience practice approaches.
- Experience in a designated Lived Experience service delivery role.
- Sound knowledge of discipline specific supervision, coaching, and mentoring skills, and/or preparedness to undertake relevant training.
- Demonstrated leadership and/or consultation experience.
- Proven ability in project management, strategic action, and innovative thinking
- Demonstrated experience in internal and external stakeholder engagement, including partnership development.
- High level relational skills and emotional intelligence.
- Sound understanding of mental health systems Lived Experience practice.
- Accomplished communication skills including written reports.
- Willingness to identify or be identified by others as a professional with Lived Experience of recovery
- Willingness to share and draw on Lived Experience purposefully in the role to instill confidence and hope in others about the journey of recovery
What The Role Requires
- National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes will be considered and doesn't automatically preclude a person from employment with Neami.
- Adherence with all relevant state mandated credentialing and checks i.e., WWCC.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- Australian working rights
