- An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified nursing staff member to take up a temporary role as Acting Liver Mass Clinical Nurse Specialist working closely with the Gastroenterology team

About the role
The Liver Mass Clinical Nurse Specialist supports the Gastroenterology team and is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of care for patients with Hepatocellular Carcinoma within the Barwon South West Region (BSWR). In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Education and support around Hepatocellular Carcinoma and symptom management
- Coordination of Liver Mass service multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT
- Achievement of actions from meetings (ie. Coordination of pre operative investigations, follow up of investigations & patient assessment pre and post procedures).
- Care coordination and follow up for patients referred to the Liver Mass Clinic
- Patient support throughout their journey, including pre/during/post clinic appointments & hospital admissions
- Building relationships with Barwon Medical Imaging (BMI) to coordinate procedure bookings
- Must be available to work 4hrs on both Wednesday afternoon & Thursday morning, remaining hours can allow for more flexibility
