Salary: $83,366.68 – $94,622.85 + 11% super contribution

ABOUT THE ROLE.
We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced event professional to join our team.
Reporting to the Strategic Events Lead, our Major Events Producers lead, coordinate and project manage Councils’ large-scale events and festivals. This role will include engaging with a broad range of stakeholders including local businesses and the general community.
Main responsibilities will include producing and leading the operational aspects, and creative components for Council’s high profile and large-scale events.
- Contribute to the creative and strategic development of existing and new events.
- Evaluate and report on our events, facilitating systems for retrieving analytics and feedback to help us improve the eventgoer experience.
- Coordinate the engagement of contractors, stallholders/vendors, suppliers, performers, and artists involved in the delivery of the event including the supervision of these parties, and event staff onsite (permanent staff, casual staff, volunteers).

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate would have intermediate level of experience in leading event coordination across a variety of event types including community or greenfield festivals to corporate functions. You will also.
- Hold relevant qualifications in events, communications, public relations, or marketing.
- Have strong project management experience, and have coordinated various components of an event (i.e. stallholder acquisition and coordination, stage programming, registration)
- Proven capacity to be able to deliver a project from conception to completion.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Hold a Class-C Driver’s License
