AddressAMAL Asset Management are seeking an experienced and organised Loan Servicing Officer to join our staff on a full-time basis, providing an excellent front-line loan and lease processing services to clients within agreed turnaround times.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Accurately maintain database records and make updates to the loan and lease record including settlements, variations, repayment & rate changes, security changes, redraws, borrower payments, and dishonours
- Generating and issue loan statements and payout figures, among other loan administration tasks
- Manage accounts in arrears by contacting borrowers to collect overdue payments, create payment plans, or adjust repayments for financial hardship
- Process client and borrower requests
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with clients and borrowers to answer questions and address concerns
- Manage direct debits, credit files, and bank reconciliations.
- Process tasks within set processing times and Service Level Agreements
- Other tasks as assigned by your Account Manager, Team Leader, or Head of Servicing
Experience & attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Loan Servicing within a secured lending environment including commercial, residential mortgages, or leasing
- Excellent customer service and relationship building ability
- Above average organisation skills to meet targets and deadlines
- Keen problem solving, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Able to learn quickly and adapt change
- Self-motivation to work unsupervised and under time constraints
