invite you to explore!The PositionThis position is based at our Ashmore Office on the beautiful Gold
Coast! The primary purpose of
this role is to work with the Manager, Capacity Building and Engagement LAC
Program, and Team Leaders LAC Community and Mainstream to drive
purpose, capacity and impact for long-term sustainability and growth of
inclusive practices in all Carers Queensland NDIS Local Area Coordination Partner in the Community Service Areas to ensure people
with disabilities, their families and carers can contribute to community prosperity
and participate in community life.The
role will have a focus on building and strengthening the capacity of
people with disabilities (both NDIS participants and
non-participants), their families and carers, as well as the
government, business, and community sectors, while being able to work remotely
with your team across the regions.Some of your key
responsibilities will include:Implement the Community Capacity
Building Plan using a project-management approach for inclusion.Deliver program-wide strategy to engage people with disability,
families and carers, as well as the government, business and community sectors.Lead Community Capacity Building projects to meet community needs
with strategic long-term vision.Develop strategic, collegial and productive
relationships, within and external to Carers Queensland, to ensure the best
outcomes for clients, the program and the organisation.What's in it for you?

Do you have?
Qualifications in Project Management,
Disability, Community Development, Education, Human Services or similar?
Extremely high-level communication skills (both
written and verbal) and
the ability to build rapport and adapt skills according to the audience or
target group involved?
Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to design, develop and implement
multiple project plans, processes and systems while being adaptable to the
ever-changing landscape of our community and their needs?
Demonstrated experience working in the human services
sector?
Demonstrated experience in undertaking a
range of Community Capacity Building activities to assist
communities to reach a desired outcome?
Excellent decision-making skills including the ability
to analyse need and measure risk?
