Community Development Coordinator (Homelessness Lead) (Community Care) - Local Government
Our client is currently looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to join their Community Care Team. This role will involve undertaking research and engaging with key stakeholders to articulate the organisations objectives, principles, role, and engagement in relation to the homeless. You will also be consulting and planning to identify gaps or opportunities to strengthen cross-government sector collaboration and outcomes.
- Hourly rate $58.06 + Super
- Monday to Friday workweek
- 00am to 5.00pm workday

This ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has previously proven themselves to be someone that thrives on building collaborative relationships to achieve a common goal - to initiate, coordinate and develop programs of a significant and complex nature to help address housing and homelessness challenges over time.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Human Services or other relevant fields is highly favourable.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead presentations and to prepare complex reports and policies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including negotiating and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge and understanding of current Community Development trends and the ability to deliver innovative projects that respond to existing and emerging issues.
