Job Title: Locum Vet NurseLocation: Sydney, NSWAre you a Locum Vet Nurse looking for new opportunities in Sydney? GVC is providing recruitment support to an established veterinary practice based in Sydney who is actively recruiting a Locum Vet Nurse to join their team and provide clinical support.The practice has all the standard equipment you would expect in a purpose-built surgery which has been updated as they continue to grow and expand their team and caseload.Details of the role:

• Sydney
• August Ongoing (Can offer a 6 month contract)
• 4 or 5 days a week (If you can offer 3 days a week, this can be discussed)
• Undertaking nursing duties, including caring for hospitalised animals, surgical preparation and monitoring anaesthesia
• Performing consultations, providing animal care information on husbandry, nutrition, parasite control and behaviour to pet owners

To be considered for this position, you must have the following or clearly be able to demonstrate your suitability for the advertised position should your application not meet the employer's requirements.Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• Experience in a busy clinic environment (preferred)
• Exceptional animal handling skills and knowledge of animal behaviour
• Passion for animal care and an advocate for stress-free nursing techniques
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work the occasional Saturday shift
