Our client is a leading Australian retailer, with over 2,500 retail outlets nationally. They process more than 20 million customer transactions each week, providing our customers with products from thousands of farmers and suppliers.
Job Description
Develop, manage and execute the weekly payment process with the transport vendors
Create weekly payment files from TMS
Liaise with all the carriers in the CC network
Process the payment files according to the contractual agreements currently in place
Assist with any out of scope payments and shipments when they arise
Undertake regular analysis of transport spend
Develop strong and effective relationships with stakeholder
Ensure ongoing carrier issues and concern are recorded and escalated to the Network Carrier Manager when required
Assist with Operational/Planning team where required to service our suppliers and maintain service
Ensure all payments are executed correctly according to carrier rate cards and scope of works
Undertake regular reviews and analysis of transport spend
The Successful Applicant
3+ years' experience in the transport/logistics industry
Strong analytical skillset and mindset
Proven ability to manage and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
Proven ability to be proactive, fast paced, demanding and resilient
Adept communication skills with the ability to build effective
Experience of working with OneNet or other transport management systems

Advanced with MS office suites, in particular excel
