Logistics Coordinator (10 Month Fixed Term)

PosteAs the Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible in ensuring reactive, flexible and cost-effective service to the stores in terms of logistics operations, and to guarantee an optimised inventory in quantity and quality for Australia and New Zealand.You will also be responsible for:

• Ensuring logistics operations are run in a smooth, accurate, and efficient manner (forward distribution, returns, and transfers of merchandise and non-merchandise)
• Maintaining and develops the operational relationship with the service providers, and with the Zone Supply Chain team
• Supporting the department with ad hoc projects, analysis and continuous improvement
• Supporting timely processing and delivery of both inbound and outbound merchandise and non-merchandise, including but not only:

• Documentation for import/export
• Status alerts
• Local distribution
• Transport claims (damaged/lost in transit) with stores and suppliers as required
• Ensuring execution and monitoring of all shipments (including store to store / store to warehouse / inbound and outbound processes). Ensure all in-transit shipments are monitored and completed.
• Ensuring the level of service provided by the service partners is up to LV standards

ProfilTo ensure your success as a Logistics Coordinator, you will have:

• 2-3 years inventory management experience gained within dedicated logistics services, retail, FMCG or related industry.
• You have a very strong analytical skills and you are customer centric.
• You demonstrate high levels of integrity and work ethic. You are an excellent communicator and bring advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel).
• Experience with SAP is essential.
