A vacancy has arisen for a fulltime or part-time Administration and Supply Chain Coordinator based in either Tamworth, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga or Horsham but any other location in NSW or Victoria will be considered for the right person. The role will require at least 5 hours a day with the capacity to do more in busy periods.
The role is an essential liaison between our customers, our Sales Agents and the individual departments of Production, Warehousing and Supply Chain. The role is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy. This role allows for the right candidate to expand the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Management within a deadline driven environment.
- Expediting customer purchase orders.
- Processing dispatch notifications, invoices, statements, and credits.
- Coordination and monitoring of product dispatches from warehouses to customers.
- Resolving Agent and customer queries.
- Working closely with the sales agents to manage customers’ expectations.
- To liaise with customers over the telephone and via email.
- Warehouse and Consignment stock reconciliation.
- Filing and archiving and any other tasks required.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in a similar role or similar duties.
- Proven customer service skills and experience of liaising with external customers.
- Ability to work with and manage people at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multi-task, to triage issues as they arise, time manage and be flexible enough to manage competing demands.
- Comfortable working in a smaller team where everyone pulls together to meet the needs of the team together with the business.
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
- The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- A positive and proactive attitude, solid work ethic and a passion for customer service.
- Previous experience in Crop Protection, Transport and logistics or the broader agricultural industry will be highly regarded.
