Your new role
In your new role as Logistics Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Management of the end-to-end domestic transportation process, from working with freight forwarders on incoming shipments, through to storage and finally distribution to customers.
- Collaboration with third-party transport providers, serving as the key point of contact to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery to customers.
- Working with key internal stakeholders across customer service and sales to understand customer requirements, keep the wider business updated, and resolve any issues that arise.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in logistics, with demonstrated understanding of transport coordination, 3PL management, and international freight exposure highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external, coupled with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in supply chain software, with previous ERP systems experience preferred and a good grasp of MS Excel.
