We are working exclusively with a global business who are a market leader in the A/V communications industry. They provide a variety of products and solutions to large-scale/high-profile events. This newly created role joins their APAC business which has gone from strength to strength in the last 15 years. The main focus of the role is to ensure the equipment rental operation is managed smoothly and efficiently.
This role would suit someone who has a couple of years of work experience and is looking to grow and develop with this unique and thriving business. There are progression/development opportunities. You must hold a valid full driving license as well as full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Organizing, loading and unloading inventory in the warehouse
- Packaging products for safe and secure transport to customers
- Reviewing delivery notes and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Communicating between Sales, Project Management and the Warehouse.
- Performing inventory counts
- Liaise with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Ensuring that distribution and shipment deadlines are met
- Following existing processes and procedures
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Previous experience in the equipment rental or the events industry desirable
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Full proficiency in English, spoken and written
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Basic administration skills
- The ability to quickly learn, business enterprise software systems
- You must hold a valid full driving license as well as full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
