As our business continues to evolve & grow, we are on the lookout for a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to join our exceptional team!
About the role
Our Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the purchase and delivery process across the complete Supply Chain. From initial purchase & supply of raw materials for production, to the final installation!
This role includes all aspects of production planning & coordination with suppliers as well as:
- Receive products into the warehouse, ensuring an efficient flow from production to installation
- Improve Supply Chain efficiency
- Monitor and track shipments including providing timely updates
- Maintain production schedules and coordinate outgoing freight
- Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the production process
- Manage the warehouse space
- Coordinate the flow of materials
- Relationship management with external suppliers
- Oversee the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery of products
- Inventory management
- Day to day supervision of our Factory Hand
About you
- Proven experience in a similar role;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Analytical and problem solving skills to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities;
- Effective communication;
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations such as changes in production requirements or Supply Chain disruptions!
- Solutions driven – ability to think outside the box!
- Strong relationship management – positive and proactive approach to the needs of your clients (both internal and external); and
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
