Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
The role.
SecureEnergy has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join the team on a 21/7) roster in Lockhart. This opportunity could suit a local candidate or someone interested in a FIFO opportunity.
Inclusive to the above responsibilities, you will ensure the administrative, stock control, safety, compliance and plant and equipment procedures are correctly followed and documented in consultation with the Logistics Supervisor.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Organising travel and accommodation for staff
- Providing administration support to teams and individuals
- Planning and coordinating services and utilities, logistics, yard, laydown, transportation, and customer relationships
- Liaising and communicating with service providers, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure timely delivery of project site requirements
- Working with Plant Supervisor to ensure all project plant and equipment is safely transported while in and around project yards and lay downs
- Working closely with OHTL supervisors and Substation supervisors to ensure services, plant, equipment and received materials are available to suit programmed works and meet necessary specifications
- Ensure supplied goods and services conform to Secure EnergyJV Safety and Environmental requirements
- Working with the Logistics Supervisor, Logistics Administrator(s) and Project Buyers to assist with procurement of material, tools and equipment as needed
- Working with the Logistics Administrator(s) and Commercial Team to ensure receipting is maintained, filed and access in an accurate and efficient manner
- Ensure high standards in Health, Safety and Environment management are promoted and enforced within the Project yard area
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years construction experience
- 5+ years logistics / procurement experience
- High focus on ensuring that all aspects of the construction work is performed safely.
- Construction White/Blue Card
- Current Australian “C” Class Driver’s License
Desirable
- ERPT Experience
- Qualification in Logistics/Warehousing or considerable experience in materials management
- Forklift license
- Crane and rigging experience
