Experienced Logistics Coordinator required for large established integrated services company based Western suburbs. A key role ensuring industrial and energy projects have the right materials at the right time to meet project and client timelines.
Working as part of a small team your duties include but are not limited to:
- Procurement and logistics administration
- Raising purchase orders/receipting of goods
- Liaising with suppliers
- Liaising with freight companies (mainly domestic and some international) and expediting freight processes
- Liaising with project site based stores personnel
- Spending time at site - typically three days per month (with paid flights and accommodation)
- Stocktaking duties
- Compiling reports internally and external for client
- Previous experience in a logistics coordination role is essential
- Previous logistics coordination experience specifically gained in construction, oil and gas or mining, would be highly regarded
- A CIPS qualification is advantageous
- Solid experience with MS Packages and SAP
- Experience using JD Edwards software is advantageous
- LF High Risk, HR Truck and VLC Ticket is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
After successful completion of probation period, a Hybrid working arranging can be considered to include 2 to 3 days working from home each week.
