Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced team member to fill the role of Logistics Coordinator | Compliance Officer. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in logistics management, regulatory compliance, and operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordinator
- Coordinate and oversee the efficient movement of Bulk & Packaged Goods, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers to optimize supply chain processes.
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to reduce excess stock and minimize waste.
- Analyze transportation costs and negotiate with carriers to achieve savings and improve service levels.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency.
Compliance Officer
- Ensure all company operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies to maintain Certification status.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in compliance requirements and collaborate with regulatory bodies.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, continuously improving processes and systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, compliance.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Proven track record of process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Especially Excel).
Preferred Certifications
- Forklift ticket or willing to obtain.
