The Cessnock Multipurpose Children’s Centre is a non-profit, community based and run organisation. We are a registered charity and have been providing Care and Education to Children since 1963.
About the Role:
The logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the logistical operations of the Cessnock Multipurpose Children’s Centre (CMCC), a leading Early Education Children’s Centre for the Greater Cessnock community. These operations include the transportation of children traveling to and from the OOSH including excursions, stores management, maintenance support and supporting the services operations. The Logistics Coordinator is also the Team Leader of the Transport Team.

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail

- Previous experiencing coordinating fellow team members.
- Knowledge and experience working in a role around WH&S
- Organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise workload and trouble shoot.
Responsibilities:
- Transport children safely and on time from school or designated pick-up points.
- Maintain accurate records of routes taken, pick-up times, and drop-off times.
- Managing the fleet to ensure they are clean and well-maintained at all times, including servicing and inspections.
- Follow traffic laws and safety procedures while driving the bus.
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately.
- Managing the stores
- Assisting with general maintenance duties
Qualifications:
- Valid LR class driver's license or higher
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Minimum 1 year experience in driving buses or similar vehicles preferred
- First aid qualification is desirable
