Ict Support/Procurement Officer

• Long term contracting opportunity – 12 months, 2×12 month extensions
• Federal Government Department – Must have Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
• Flexible working arrangement – 2 days WFH per Week

We are recruiting an ICT Support/Procurement Officer on behalf of a Federal Government Department that promotes and protects Australia’s international interests to support our security and prosperity. This department is seeking an ICT Support Officer with a background in Net Zero approaches to ICT procurement to coordinate, develop and deliver IMD’s Net Zero strategy and reporting requirements.Key Responsibilities

• Participating in Net Zero workshops, communities and networks both internal and external.
• Undertaking research and providing advice on ICT related emission reduction options.
• Reviewing/updating of ICT procurement documentation as it relates to Net Zero.
• Developing and managing implementation of IMD’s Net Zero strategy

Essential Criteria

• Have a demonstrated understanding of the breadth of ICT procurements undertaken by large Government organisations;
• Possess a strong understanding of sustainable ICT procurement, including for hardware, software and services;
• Demonstrated experience undertaking research, consulting across Government, and developing and providing advice on ICT-related emission reduction options;
• It is desirable the that successful candidate can demonstrate experience using EDRMS, Visio and Microsoft 365 suite.
