The Role
Responsible for distributing nutritious meals to thousands of kids around Australia. Coordinating and managing the KGF distribution and freight requirements. Including overseeing the distribution and provision of services in Queensland, ACT and Victoria. Day to day management of the NSW distribution, drivers, and transport.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the timely delivery of meals to childcare centres in NSW
- Manage the day-to-day requirements of distribution staff and scheduling for NSW
- Ensure staff and team practices comply with all company/legislative policies and procedures
- Ensure all NSW delivery vehicles are loaded as per Driver/Run requirements
- Organise driver routes (NSW) to optimise efficiency and safety
- Provide continual guidance in mentoring and career development for staff
- Manage the maintenance schedules of delivery vehicles
- Maintain communication with Customer Service, Pack Room Manager and Sales team
- Ensure all administrative tasks and paperwork requirements are completed in a timely manner with high levels of accuracy
- Manage linehaul requirements for both NSW and interstate
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
- Experience and complete understanding of warehouse and distribution functions
- Leadership skills with proven experience in people management
- Knowledge of end-to-end food service distribution industry
- Knowledge/Experience in a cold store environment an advantage
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including being able to motivate others and create a team environment
- A solid knowledge of HACCP and WH&S regulations
- Knowledge of food handling – training provided
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously within expected deadlines
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Drivers licence and Forklift licence is essential
