Tasks & Responsibilities
Actively build relationships with the key customer stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations
Managing the shared Customer Service inbox
Respond to incoming phone calls and emails from customer and vendors for all enquiries
Enter phone and email bookings and necessary consignment notes for all freight pickups
Follow all service requests through to completion, communicating the customers’ requirements to all relevant internal stakeholders and communicate all exceptions to the customer
Liaise with third party transport providers and operations regarding coordination of freight requirements
Investigate, follow up and close non-conformance reports (NCR) in accordance with agreed procedure and timeline
Assist in the location and preparation of freight in accordance with customer requirements to ensure delivery in a timely manner
Liaise with operations team to ensure all ‘must travel’ freight is actioned
Skills & Experience
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite of programs
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A passion for Customer Service
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
