About the Role:
Reporting to the National Logistics Supervisor, the successful candidate will:
- Ensure container availability to meet forecasted cargo demand and inform Logistics Manager of any equipment shortages
- Supply vs demand management (Produce Equipment Forecast vs Bookings )
- Prioritize Equipment Releases
- Coordinate Equipment availability
- Initiate Empty Repositioning (National & International) as required to meet booking demands
- Pre-Alert Booking Desk in case of equipment shortage for stop Bookings
- Generate transport orders and bookings for empty repositioning
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1-year previous experience in the Logistics industry
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Good computer skills with excellent understanding of Excel
- Strong organisational and administration skills
