The Opportunity
The Logistic Services Controller will be responsible for managing our company's third-party logistics (3PL) supplier base to ensure service level expectations are met. This role will also involve overseeing the operation of our in-house fleet and Logistics Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, supplier relationship management, and a proven track record of optimizing operational efficiency.
The base location for this role can be either in Thomastown, Kinglake West, or Euroa. We want to accommodate the needs of our employees and are open to discussing the preferred location with the successful candidate.

The Role
Reporting to Procurement and Logistics Manager some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
• Leverage the company’s spend to obtain best value from the 3PL transport and warehousing supplier base.
• Evaluate and manage supplier performance against SLA’s.
• Manage supplier relationships.
• Contribute to, or lead, continuous improvement, and benefit creation programs.
• Oversee the company Chep accounts.
• Manage the company’s vehicle fleet.
• Manage the company’s forklifts and materials handling equipment fleet.
About You
• 2-3 years’ experience in a professional role within procurement or logistics.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Solid negotiating skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
