About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic logistics team. If you enjoy problem solving, learning daily & working in a fast pace environment this is the opportunity for you!
Reporting into the Logistics Manager your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Manage logistics and transport operations to ensure that finished product is available in the correct warehouse to meet regional forecasts and any additional S&OP agreed safety stock
- Process intra and inter company stock transfer orders in SAP, monitor timely GR’s are completed
- Manage day to day 3 PL transport operations - investigate and resolve enquiries, issues, manage performance of 3PL ensuring KPI and service levels are maintained
- Maintain health metrics performance by running daily reports ensuring data accuracy and monitor past due deliveries
- Manage the cycle count process & stock checking
- Reviewing and improve policies and procedures relating to Inventory Control.
- Coordinate paperwork for import and export stock transfers, liaising with customs broker and other FMC regions
- Preparing all relevant SOPs
About You:
To apply you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Min 3 years’ Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Inventory related discipline
- SAP experience in the MM / IM and S&D modules. Understanding of MRP best practices preferred
- Experienced in working cooperatively across multiple business units and geographies to resolve system, process, and financial issues
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well as a team player and able to function independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with import/export also highly regarded
