About the Opportunity

Supporting the leadership team of partner sites in identifying and advancing improvement opportunities, ensuring the adherence to core Engineered Standards, facilitating Learning and Development initiatives, and aiding operational teams. This position will oversee all site operations related to the implementation of continuous improvement projects and tools. Responsibilities include overseeing operational process audits and spearheading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness for our DCs in Gepps Cross and Darwin (travel to Darwin approximately twice a year). This is an office-based role (full-time at Gepps Cross).

In this Role

  • Spearhead site initiatives and ensure adherence to Core Engineered Standards, acting as the primary link between local and national improvement efforts.
  • Drive LEAN/process improvement workshops (e.g., Kaizen, Rapid Improvement) to foster innovative solutions and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement among DC managers and operational teams.
  • Utilize process improvement methodologies like Value Stream Mapping to identify and implement service improvement activities across the business.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy across the supply chain, focusing on establishing a monitoring system to identify trends and process variations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement support materials, training programs, and system enhancements based on revised processes, ensuring successful delivery and continuous enhancement through post-implementation reviews.
