REX is seeking a suitably experienced and highly motivated individual as a full-time Logistics Team Leader, located in Adelaide.
Reporting to:
This position reports to the Stores Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Take action as necessary to resolve differences between Engineering database stock levels and actual stock levels
Maintain adequate stock levels at all maintenance facilities
Ensure that packaging procedures are maintained to an IATA Standard with dispatch in a timely manner
Ensure shelf–life control is adequately monitored and appropriately actioned
Ensure all inward & outward goods are properly managed/executed according to Regulatory & Company’s guidelines
Hubs are to carry out monthly cyclic stocktaking; this is on top of the ad-hoc stock taking.
Assist with resolving discrepancies between part number ordered and part received
Ensure that the Stores activities are providing efficient and effective services to the users.
Ensure all requests for parts are processed in a timely manner on IAS
Actively participate in provisioning exercises to meet upcoming requirements
Manage the distribution of Aircraft components within the Company
Ensure that the company Inter-port freight is handled and actioned correctly (incl. traceability)
Management of all reporting staff including training, disciplining and rostering
Ensure that the work area is maintained and that all staff and facilities adhere to all relevant WHS requirements
Ensure that deficiencies identified as a result of the Quality Assurance & Internal Evaluation Programs, are rectified in an appropriate and timely manner
Ensure that deficiencies identified as a result of External Audits are rectified in an appropriate and timely manner
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements regarding storage and traceability of parts, control stocktaking, etc.
Constantly review & improve the existing SOP
Selection Criteria:
Experience in a supervisory role an advantage
Knowledge of aircraft components
Moderate computer knowledge and use of Microsoft applications
Current Driver’s licence is essential
Must be able to obtain an ASIC card, Air Side Drivers licence, Dangerous Goods Licence and Fork lift Licence
