We drive the simple mission of making beautiful and inspiring furniture and lighting pieces for people’s homes, along with a curated collection of homewares. From humble beginnings with only eight staff, we have now grown to a team nationwide of over 220 today.
What we are looking for :
We are seeking a Logistics Team Leader to join our Logistics and Supply Chain Team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics functions within the business including freight for internal and external clients. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of logistics experience as well as excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
What the role entails :
- Oversee all national and export distribution requirements including completed customer orders, returned goods, floorstock items, loans and specified homewares items
- Ensure freight queries and quotes are completed in a timely manner in conjunction with the Logistics Team.
- Monitor and report on storage of finished goods at external carrier locations in conjunction with the Logistics Team
- Oversee damage in transit report and claims, escalating to the Supply Chain Manager as required.
- Communicate updates in logistics status of orders to the sales team.
- Oversee logistics functions of showroom shuffles and photoshoots in consultation with the Creative Studio Manager and National Sales and Development Manager
- Set and monitor KPI’s for the Logistics team
- Co-ordinate stock take with 3PL of floor stock and finished goods
- Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PL, sales and operational teams
- Manage 3PL freight pricing in FM ensuring it is accurate at all times
- Work alongside the Supply Chain Manager to develop and implement a strategic logistics plan for long term improvements as well as working on Continuous Improvement activities
- Work on developmental projects that benefit the strategic goals of the business as well as direct reports
- Generate reports and communicate findings on results, market research and analysis of possible business opportunities
- Manage direct reports and conduct performance appraisals and discussions.
- Any other tasks as required by the Supply Chain Manager
