Job Purpose
Management of all aspects of Logistics and the Warehouse operation, including safety and efficiency
The Role and Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Purchasing teams to ensure smooth running of Logistics, Warehousing & Supply Chain
- Ensuring all warehouse team members are correctly trained and authorised to perform their duties in a safe manner
- Ensuring the continued accuracy and high standards of receiving and issuing of all raw materials into the SAP warehouse system
- Organising and managing regular daily cycle counts and quarterly full warehouse stock takes and ad hoc as required to ensure consistent material accuracy
- Monitoring inventory levels and Inventory turns.
- Developing and implementing inventory control practices.
- Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
- Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
- Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
- Analyzing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.
- Analyzing purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems.
- Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
Key Skills and Experience for the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree qualification
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Managing Logistics & Warehousing functions
- Experience using SAP system
- Experience with strategic management of inventory forecasting and projection reporting
- Proven experience managing multiple priorities and the ability to pivot with ease as required
- Proven experience liaising with multiple stakeholders within a large organization, including both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a fast paced and complex environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
- Experience in leading high level of OH&S standards within an FMCG industry
