Logistics/Warehouse Manager - 3Pl

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics/Warehouse Manager to join our client's team in Southeast Melbourne. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee and optimize all facets of warehouse operations while serving as the primary liaison for our client's valued customer. With a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, our partner is dedicated to fostering strong relationships and driving continuous improvement in all aspects of their business.DescriptionThis position offers a unique opportunity to lead a well-established team, work on-site with customers, and receive continuous support from senior leadership. Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but not limited to):

• Manage all facets of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for our esteemed clientele, fostering strong relationships and addressing their needs proactively.
• Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DWMQ, and continuously improve operational processes.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and other stakeholders to optimize logistics and supply chain operations.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports, including profit and loss (P&L) statements.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure seamless collaboration.
• Interact with customers at all levels, from Customer Service Administrator to Senior Management.

ProfileTo be considered for this role you will have

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably from a 3PL background.
• An exceptional customer-centric approach, able to respond to customer requests promptly and effectively.
• The ability to interpret customer needs and suggest options for mutual benefit.
• Leadership qualities to coordinate and lead teams towards company objectives.
• Effective planning, communication, delegation, and training skills.
• Problem-solving abilities to analyze and resolve issues promptly.
• Motivational skills to inspire teams to achieve company goals.
• Understanding and management of Profit & Loss aspects in warehouse and transport operations.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills for data analysis, documentation, and presentations.
