THE ROLE
Based in Perth at our head office in Subiaco or Carnarvon at our Lake Macleod operational site, the primary role of the Long-Term Maintenance Planner is to plan and develop schedules for the execution of strategic long-Term Maintenance and shutdowns for the Company?s operations. This role involves procuring and coordinating resources, ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements, and optimising strategic maintenance plans to enhance operational efficiency.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Developing long-term plans in accordance with asset strategies and asset management plans.
- Prepare for production/maintenance activities ensuring that all labour, materials, and equipment resource requirements are identified.
- Liaise with procurement to acquire long lead parts and resources.
- Plan effective and efficient shutdowns aligned with business objectives and operational constraints.
- Demonstrates a sound understanding of asset management.
- Works with relevant stakeholders to develop and refine asset management plans.
- Develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with direct team members and with broader teams and stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience.
- Relevant trade/tertiary qualification (Heavy Diesel/ Electrical or graduate diploma in Maintenance Management.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years? experience in a similar role
- Exposure or experience within the mining industry or related heavy industries.
- Experience in planning and managing schedules.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Asset Management principles and standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy & database management skills.
- Self-reliant and capable of working independently.
- Able to travel to site when required.
