We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Planner to join
our team and contribute to the smooth running of our operations.
Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Planner at Metcalfe Pastoral, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of maintenance activities for our farming operations. Your responsibilities will encompass both fixed and mobile plant maintenance, as well as the upkeep of business infrastructure including fences, yards, sheds, and laneways.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for fixed and mobile plant equipment.
Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for farm infrastructure such as fences, yards, sheds, and
laneways.
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Work closely with farm managers and staff to identify maintenance needs and priorities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for maintenance issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in maintenance planning, preferably within an agricultural or similar environment.
Strong understanding of fixed and mobile plant equipment.
Knowledge of farm infrastructure maintenance, including fencing, yards, sheds, and laneways.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
