Job Description
As a Shutdown and Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in the planning and execution of maintenance activities and shutdowns within our electrical operations. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all maintenance and shutdown tasks are planned efficiently, executed safely, and completed within the allocated time and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed Shutdown and Maintenance schedules for electrical systems.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of planned activities.
- Prepare and review work scopes, job plans, and resource requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential issues.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor and report on the progress of Shutdown and Maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Continuously improve planning processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shutdown and Maintenance Planner in the electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and Maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g. SAP, Primavera).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant technical qualifications or trade certifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
