Welink. Recruitment has partnered with an Industrial Manufacturing organisation based in Condell Park – our partner is seeking Machine Operators to work on either a morning shift (6:00am to 02:00pm) OR afternoon shift (02:00pm - 10:00pm) to ensure timely production and delivery of their products to their customers.
About the Role:
Working with this unique business – the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere – you will learn how to safely setup and monitor various machines utilised in the production process, ensuring finished goods are produced to the correct quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup machines, operating them safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring machines during the production process for faults.
- Troubleshooting and reporting issues to management.
- Minimal general lifting/labouring.
- Following instructions from Team Leaders and Supervisors across all stations.
- Some forklift operation e.g. to load trucks with finished goods.
To be considered for this role, you:
- Must have demonstrated experience in heavy machine operation.
- Possess a valid LF Forklift License.
- Must be able to commit to 6 weeks of training on a morning shift*
- Can be flexible to work morning or afternoon shifts
- Are willing to complete overtime (and earn some extra $$$)
- Will have a good eye for detail and ability to problem solve.
*Please note – the 6 weeks of training is completed on a morning shift only. If you are interested in the afternoon shift, you must be able to commit to 6 weeks of training on a morning shift.
