A key role in one of Australia’s largest, most diverse and inclusive agribusiness companies. 
 
Role

The role of a Machine/Forklift Operator is to operate and maintain complex machinery as well as operate a forklift in our Leeton Processing Plant. You will be a team player, flexible to rotate to other areas of the business and have a strong commitment to safety. Opportunity for overtime is available, if desired.

Duties include but not limited to 

  • Overseeing the machine and equipment to achieve daily KPI's
  • Forklift operation
  • Willingness to rotate to other areas of the business
  • Sorting product of all defects and foreign materials in accordance to our specifications
  • Packing, processing and manual handling
  • Cleaning of machine and equipment
  • Operational maintenance when required

Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience 

  • Forklift Licence
  • Dedicated to food safety and quality
  • Prior experience sorting products and/or working in a food processing environment
  • Prior experience in operating machines in a similar environment
  • Understanding of HACCP and quality management systems
