The global leader in Machinery Development and innovation has a new opportunity available for a Machinery Project Development Manager to join their longstanding experienced team.
Your new role
As the Machinery Project Development Manager, you will play a critical role in guiding the team through the entire Machinery Development process, from initial concept to final implementation, you'll ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities;
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organisation goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the design, prototyping, testing, and production processes.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory, and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Communicate project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Machinery Development Project management, preferably in manufacturing or related fields.
- Expertise in product development tools and methodologies, such as Rapid Learning cycles, and Design Thinking.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
