About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Coordinator / Maintenance Operations Coordinator to support the business, our people and provide planning and technical advice for the maintenance of the business’s assets.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is a responsible for the effective long-term maintenance, planning and resourcing required to support our specialist equipment and ancillary fleet.
- Provide maintenance planning and costings that focus on safety, reliability, cost improvement and coordinate with the Workshop Supervisor and Site Maintenance Supervisor to have works undertaken locally and onsite;
- Report actual maintenance costs against budget, analyse variance and recommend response actions;
- Coordinate Rotable components and rebuilds to ensure quality and availability of critical components and maintain operational continuity;
- Monitor and review parts usage to ensure sufficient stock of Critical spares;
- Conduct sourcing and purchasing activities for Maintenance department;
- Promote a Health and Safety culture within the business;
- Assist with quoting, project management and quality checks;
- Accurate completion of all paperwork associated with fleet maintenance and repair;
- Drive continuous improvement of equipment performance, including: failure analysis, PM monitoring, condition monitoring, and procurement of parts;
- Conduct and manage internal and external maintenance system audits to uphold quality standards.
About You
- Proven competence and experience in a related maintenance field essential;
- Experience in a similar role ideal;
- Heavy vehicle mechanic trade qualification preferred;
- The ability to plan and implement solutions decisively;
- Strong interpersonal skills including consultation and negotiation skills;
- High level of oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to plan, prioritise and multi task;
- Meet strict deadlines;
- Commitment to ensuring a safe working environment;
- Ability to work with people at various levels from shop floor to senior management;
- Significant experience in a civil, mining or industrial environment;
- Experienced with computers & information management system and reporting tool.
Experience utilising Pronto or similar would be advantageous. Experience with Wirtgen Group equipment beneficial but not necessary
