About our client and culture;
Our client is a leading drilling contractor with major contracts on the east coast working with clients such as Glencore, Rio Tinto, Yancoal and BHP.
Due to growth they are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join their established business.
This is a Monday to Friday role and would require to live or relocate to the region.
They have a positive working culture, offering plenty of training, development and career advancement, having a long list of impressive clients and top tier drilling rigs!
This role would be suited to some with a mechanical back ground or qualification to have a strong technical understanding of their maintenance and fleet.
Day to Day duties but not limited to;
- Managing a team of 8 - 10 tradesmen
- Managing the maintenance and service portfolio of their drilling rigs
- Managing their maintenance and coordination programs
- Managing sub contractors and external labour
- Strong understanding of labour pricing and budgets
- Previous use of and using their current CRM systems
- Mechanical trade qualified
- Two recent references
- Strong time management
- Strong understanding of maintenance plans
- Strong communication skills
