Our OpportunityWork Location: Concentrate Handling Facility & West Canning Basin - Fortescue's CHF is located in Port Hedland on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people. West Canning Basin is located 100 kilometers east of Port Hedland.
Roster: 4D3R, 4D3R, 4D3R, 8D6R
Reporting to the Manager Concentrate Handling Facility & West Canning Basin, the Maintenance Coordinator will ensure safe, efficient and optimal maintenance of the process plants to meet target delivery. As a key member of the team, the Maintenance Coordinator oversees all maintenance & operational aspects, including planning, organising, and coordinating team and project work. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive culture, providing guidance, and maintaining a safe work environment to achieve production targets. The ideal candidate leads by example, embodying the Fortescue's values.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor operations and address downtime, recommending actions as needed
- Assist shutdown planning, execution and close out
- Manage resources, including ordering necessary items to support operations
- Identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions
- Coordinate daily production maintenance and operations plans
- Monitor plant reliability and address downtime, recommending actions as needed
- Electrical Trade or Electrical Engineering Qualification essential
- Proven track record of safety commitment and adherence
- Strong leadership skills with previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor and Nominee highly desirable
- Previous operational experience in a process plant environment
- Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large-scale processing plants
- Strong understanding of permit to work and isolation procedures
- Strong understanding of WH&S Legislation
