Maintenance Electrician Afternoon Shift

Join this reputable National manufacturer in the Maintenance team as the Afternoon Shift Electrician. Working within a fast paced environment you will be supporting the manufacturing plant in all aspects of maintenance.

Duties will include but not limited too:

• Address and resolve issues associated with planned and unplanned maintenance tasks in plant
• Pursue the continuous improvement of plant equipment, machinery and systems
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC equipment and machinery
• Work closely with management in relation with maintenance and equipment issues
• Apply a planned and preventative approach to maintenance
• Have a clear focus on quality and safety

You will also need:

• General electrical troubleshooting, maintenance & repairs on manufacturing production lines
• Trade qualified "A" Grade Electrical Licence
• Knowledge of GMP and QA requirements
• Practical understanding of Electrical Schematic Wiring Diagram
• Previous experience years as an Electrician, mechanical experience is a bonus
• Strong Knowledge on PLC’s and associated Software 
• Ideally a background in FMCG manufacturing with exposure to a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good fault finding skills and a sound knowledge in pneumatics
• Ability to apply initiative and strong problem solving skills while working autonomously or in a team
