About the role:
Your mission is to champion operational excellence through timely breakdown repairs and meticulous total preventative maintenance schedules. By minimizing machine downtime, elevating production output, and ensuring our facilities radiate cleanliness, safety, and professionalism, we uphold the esteemed image of our company.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conduct Total Preventative Maintenance schedules.
• Repair breakdowns to reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure spare parts availability.
• Maintain safe and efficient machine and equipment conditions.
• Assist in commissioning or installing new and existing plant equipment.
About you:
• Extensive experience as a Maintenance Fitter.
• Relevant trade qualifications in Fitting (Mechanical).
• Proficiency in using all workshop machines and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Compliance with regulations and adherence to plant maintenance schedules.
• Experience with servicing and overhauling various pumps.
• Experience with conveyor systems servicing and repairs.
• Skilled in hydraulics and pneumatics, with the ability to troubleshoot in these areas.
• Desirable: MIG Welding, Robotics, PLC Knowledge, E-coat and Powder coat paint systems, Laser and Press brake knowledge (LVD & Trumpf), Motorman and ABB Robotics, Scissor and/or boom license, Confined Space, Working at Heights.
• Clean Car and Forklift licence required.
