LOOKING FOR THAT NEXT STEP IN YOUR CONSTRUCTION CAREER, JOIN YOUR LOCAL COUNCIL, CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE TEAM.About the positionYou will be responsible for providing direction and onsite supervision to a small team in the performance of construction and maintenance activities for the Toowoomba Regional area. This will extend to the general involvement in the selection and application of appropriate skills to suit the varying demands of work within the team

• The base rate for this position is $2,259.24 gross per fortnight, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
• This is a permanent full time position based at the Pittsworth Depot.
• This position participates in a nine (9) day fortnight working arrangement.

How to be successful in this position - Success Criteria

• WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent.
• Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) Licence.
• Current unrestricted ‘MR’ Class Driver’s Licence, or if not held, must be obtained within six (6) months of commencement.
• Experience in a civil construction or maintenance environment.
