Maintenance General Trade to join our Geraldton Team, in the Midwest. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides maintenance services to over 18,000 public housing dwellings for the Department of Communities, including Aboriginal communities in remote locations throughout the State.Benefits Provided

Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Branch Supervisor, the
Maintenance General Trade will be responsible for the timely completion of general and reactive maintenance on a PFM's contract.
Desirable experience:- Wall and floor tiling, including waterproofing
- General tiling maintenance
- Painting
- Bathroom refurbishments
- General Handyman tasks
About YouTo join our team, you will be an experienced
Maintenance General Trade who has experience in a domestic or commercial environment, has excellent attention to detail and a strength for delivering a high quality service without compromise. The incumbent is a key person within the Team, promoting staff morale while displaying a “can do” and “Team Player” attitude. Additionally, you will provide first-class customer service whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself and others at all times.Additionally, you will possess:
- Construction White Card (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in Tiling, Painting and general handyman experience
- VALID C Class (mandatory)
- Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
- Trade based competencies (desirable)
Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:
- Ability to process work orders electronically i.e. Web based or computer software systems
- Ability to work in a Team; be a self-motivator and take instructions.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills.
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, at all times.
