AddressWe are seeking a reliable individual who has the ability to think of their feet and work proactively and efficiently in a constantly evolving environment.
Reporting directly to the Farm manager, you will be responsible for managing the Maintenance team, Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Testing & Inspection, and Mechanical Excellence.
You will be capable of resolving issues quickly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where you’ll need to have a high level of commitment to the job with problem solving skills that demonstrate your ability to evaluate information quickly and find solutions.
Salary - $95,000 + dependent on experience
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and execute preventative and reactive maintenance
- Diagnosis and repair of machinery in a timely manner
- Measure, monitor, track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure attainment of maintenance objectives. Use KPI’s to set and achieve Improvement objectives.
- Manage and lead the Maintenance team
- Assist with the installation and relocation of associated equipment
- To comply with all relevant OH&S legislation
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis
- Maintain equipment repair records, as well as preventative maintenance records.
- Strong technical and problem solving skills in mechanical design, root cause failure analysist and maintenance
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Hands on and show of commitment
- 3+ years in a similar management position
- Trade Qualified - Auto Electrician or Diesel Mechanic
- Technical skill set across a variety of engineering competencies (Welding, Fabrication etc)
- Self-motivated, organised, trustworthy and optimistic leader who has the ability to inspire and empower the maintenance team
- The ability to drive positive change, be open to new ideas and technologies and implement innovative solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Good computer literacy with well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail and decision-making ability
