Lesaffre Australia Pacific is the subsidiary of Lesaffre and was established in 1993.
Lesaffre Australia Pacific are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to take responsibility for Site Maintenance.

Main responsibilities and activities
- Managing day to day maintenance works including electrical, mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Supervision of the maintenance team, including fitters, electricians, and contractors.
- Reviews job orders to determine work priorities.
- Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, etc. required for operations.
- Supervise preventive maintenance program in conjunction with maintenance staff.
- Develop, and implement new methods and procedures as required to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
Proven Electrical experience in a FMCG, GMP and HACCP environment would be highly regarded.

Essential Skills
- GMP awareness
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Knowledge of LEAN principles
- Computer skills in particular Mex (maintenance software)
- Flexibility in hours to be able to work outside normal hours including weekends.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to work with a team
- Approaches others in a tactful and professional manner.
- Be pro-active and use initiative without direction from Management or others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Maintenance Management experience
- Demonstrated background in a commercial food manufacturing plant.
