A National Australian owned Food Manufacturing business, delighting taste buds across the country with their creations, are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their successful team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an exciting time to join a successful, well-established business as they continue on their journey of growth.
Your new role
- Ensure an efficient and professional information flow from maintenance across the sites and externally
- Create a culture of service excellence and measurable high levels of customer satisfaction, based on a sound set of service delivery standards and problem-solving methodology.
- Lead, develop and maintain collaborative relationships within the maintenance team.
- Ensure processes and systems are continually improved to manage a proactive approach to maintenance
- Schedule preventative and routine maintenance, monitor schedules, investigate and report variances.
- Manage site services and utilities, and ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- A qualified trade with a strong automated control system aptitude.
- Project management of capital and improvement activities.
- Experience of implementing maintenance and reliability systems.
- Mechanical abilities with knowledge of complex hydrotic systems; rotating vessels; conveyors, screening equipment and mobile plant.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel as well as strong analytical and organisation skills.
- The ability to move around in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work flexible hours - the factory is in operation 24 hours a day / 5 days a week (more in peak periods).
