Your new Role:
We are looking for Maintenance Manager to join our team in Derwent Park.
While you won't be managing a team, you will have full responsibility for the site's maintenance function. We want you to approach this role with the mindset of running your own business, welcoming your process improvement suggestions (and execution), and focusing on preventative maintenance of our equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking full responsibility for the maintenance of the entire site
- Raise purchase orders for external maintenance providers, parts, and supplies.
- Track the completion of work orders, investigate equipment failures, and identify critical spares.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans.
- Ensure maintenance compliance and adherence to safety standards.
- Proactively manage the maintenance of our equipment in a preventative manner.
We are looking for someone who has the following skills/experience:
- Trade qualification (Fitter and Turner, Boilermaker, Welder).
- Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Experience in site shutdowns is highly valued.
- Ability to manage the maintenance function independently and treat the site as your own business.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.
