Maintenance Manager
Location: Southwest Sydney, NSW
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $120,000 + Super &Company vehicle or Car Allowance

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to develop and execute the continuous improvement cycle while coordinating a small team. The Maintenance Manager also ensures all WH&S, Quality Assurance and Environmental Management Systems are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the planned preventative maintenance strategy for all plant and equipment.
- Various project management tasks including the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment, preparing 'scope of works' and overseeing a combination of electrical, mechanical, and civil site upgrades.
- Delegate tasks, deliver training and uphold quality standards within the maintenance team.
- Establish strong working relationships with relevant department managers to ensure full understanding of maintenance requirements and priorities.
- Offering expert advice to develop risk assessments, standard operations procedures, work method statements and position descriptions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary and/or Trade qualifications in related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil).
- Experience within a production environment, ideally in Steel or Manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge developing preventative and shutdown maintenance programs.
- Proven experience managing a maintenance team, ideally multi-discipline teams.
- Experience developing, implementing and executing preventative maintenance programs is essential.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems and experience creating maintenance schedules.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings in both electrical and manual formats.
